Wireline Trucks Manufactured in Seguin, TexAS
Wireline Truck Fab was established in 2004 in Seguin, Texas with a focus on building and refurbishing dependable wireline equipment for demanding oilfield operations. Built on decades of field experience, the company combines practical operational knowledge with disciplined manufacturing standards. Every project is approached with attention to durability, functionality, and direct communication so customers receive equipment that performs reliably in real working conditions.

THE STORY BEHIND WIRELINE TRUCK FAB
The foundation of this shop began long before 2004. Billy Smith entered the wireline industry in 1974 and later operated his own independent wireline company in Seguin, running refurbished trucks he built himself. As demand grew for quality, affordable units, the transition into manufacturing became a natural step. Ricky Smith, who grew up working in the field before gaining technical service experience, joined in launching Wireline Truck Fab. Together they created a business built on hands-on knowledge, practical execution, and equipment designed to work the way operators expect it to.
Facilities and Capabilities Built Around Real-World Specs
From new builds to refurbishments and modifications, our capabilities are designed to support the work wireline crews actually do. We keep the process straightforward, communicate clearly, and focus on build quality that holds up in demanding environments. Below is a quick overview of what we do in house and how projects are typically structured.
New units are built around the requirements you bring to the table, including layout, access, functionality, and the realities of day-to-day operations. The goal is a finished unit that fits your work, your crew, and your preferred configuration without unnecessary complexity.
Refurbishment work is approached with a performance-first mindset. Whether the need is structural, functional, or reliability-driven, we rebuild equipment to a defined scope and stage of completion so you know exactly what is being addressed and why it matters.
We handle targeted modifications for operators who need practical improvements without replacing an entire unit. That includes updates that improve service access, durability, and jobsite usability, with attention to clean execution and long-term maintenance considerations.
Skid work is built around application requirements and operational workflow so it functions correctly in the field and integrates cleanly with the unit it is intended for. Each build is aligned with customer specifications and designed for dependable, repeatable operation.
